A word about my first book, and where to find it
The Turn to Final was my first published book, released through a very small press (Blue-Fortune Enterprises) in 2023. It came out of the same world I work in now—trauma, recovery, belonging, and a living relationship with the unseen—but it entered the world in a way that almost guaranteed it would stay quiet.
There was almost no marketing behind the release, and at the time I didn’t fully understand how much of that responsibility would fall to me. Between a tiny press, limited distribution, and my own inexperience, the book sold fewer than 50 copies, including ebooks.
I don’t hide that. It matters to me to be transparent about what worked and what didn’t.
That experience taught me:
- how easy it is for a book to vanish, no matter how much heart goes into it,
- how important partnership, positioning, and timing really are, and
- why I needed to write more clearly for the people I actually serve in circles, recovery, and teaching.
The Traveler’s Journey Home: Clarity in the House of Chaos is the fruit of that recalibration: a clearer book, for a clearer audience, with a more deliberate plan for how it meets the world.
If you’d like to read The Turn to Final anyway—both as a story and as part of my learning curve—you can still find it here:
